Rachel Reinhardt serves as Associate Vice President for Communications at the University of
Arizona Health Sciences. In this role, she leads a team of communications professionals to
enhance the UArizona Health Sciences brand and impact.

At UArizona Health Sciences, Reinhardt will build on her distinctive career in health
communications. As the Senior Vice President for Communications at the Ludwig Institute for
Cancer Research for 12 years, Reinhardt was pivotal in transforming the organization's
communications function and establishing Ludwig Cancer Research as a global collaborative
cancer research community. Her notable achievements include leading a successful rebranding
initiative, developing comprehensive internal and external communications strategies, and
implementing crisis and issues management plans.

Prior to her role at Ludwig, Reinhardt served as the National Director of Marketing and
Communications at the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. During her tenure, she
effectively communicated the organization's expanded mission to key stakeholders and
enhanced collaboration between the communications and development teams.

Reinhardt’s experience also includes serving as the Senior Director of Global Communications
at the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative, where she led a diverse, global team in creating
communications strategies to support AIDS vaccine research and funding. She began her
career at France Telecom North America where, as Vice President for Communications, she
played a central role in increasing brand awareness and positioning the company in the U.S.
market.

Reinhardt holds a Bachelor of Arts in French and International Studies from Yale University,
graduating cum laude in 1996.
